PRODUCTION STAFF
Amm(i)gone travels with the following personnel:
• 1 Actor
• 1 Stage Manager/ Company Manager
• 1 Production Manager
• The Co-Director may at their discretion attend some portion of the load-in or run
LABOR
All personnel called for the load-in, run of show, and strike must be qualified to work in the
department they are assigned. All labor scheduled shall be present at the top of each call. All
stagehands must bring basic tools for all crew calls.
All personnel must speak English. Any stagehand, wardrobe, or hair and makeup attendant
appearing for work or for any call showing any signs of drinking or substance abuse will be
dismissed immediately. It is the Venue’s responsibility to replace the dismissed employee
immediately.
House labor requirements may increase or decrease these numbers dependent on responsibilities
and union agreements. In venues without departmental lines, overall staffing requirements
may decrease.
LOAD IN CREW
Amm(i)gone requires the following staff for load in, with time allocated per the schedule outlined
below:
• 4 Carpenters
• 1 Rigger who shall also work as a Carpenter
• 3 Electricians
• 2 Sound/Video Engineers
• 1 Wardrobe
• 1 Props Person
If Carpenters cannot unload truck, please provide 2-4 loaders (depending on distance and
difficulty of path from truck to stage).
RUNNING CREW
Amm(i)gone requires the following LOCAL run crew for each performance:
• 1 Backstage ASM/PA*
• 1 Light Board Operator
• 1 Sound/Video Operator
• 1 Wardrobe**
• 1 A2 Wireless Tech TBD*
* ASM/PA can function as A2
**It is desirable but not required that the Wardrobe person have basic hair and make-up
experience.
Run crew will be required one hour prior to the half-hour call for each performance. All run
crew should be consistent for every performance during the run of show and subs must be
approved in writing by Production Manager.
During performance calls all run crew in all departments who work on stage must wear black
clothing without patterns or visible logos.
It is understood that each house will have their own obligations with regard to minimum crew
requirements (ie. House Heads or guaranteed crew) for each performance. If venue has a union
agreement or department lines, please forward upon receipt of this technical rider.
A representative of the presenting house who is authorized to approve financial decisions must
be available to the Production at all times from the start of load in through the first performance.
ADVANCED CALLS
Prior to the arrival of Amm(i)gone venue shall install a fully operational lighting plot, house
sound plot and video plot. Amm(i)gone shall advance a lighting, video and sound plot and may
be able to modify or work within a house repertory plot.
At presenter’s request, Amm(i)gone will advance necessary cabling (for sound and video setup)
and lighting expendables (gobos, color) for installation at an advanced call.
LOAD IN
All calls should be coordinated between touring Production Manager and local Production
Manager at least four weeks prior to engagement. Load-in schedule is subject to change based
on load in conditions in each venue.
While the show can be loaded in such that the first performance is at the end of the second day,
the ideal is for a three-day load-in with this SAMPLE schedule:

*If it is possible to stagger department call times, meal breaks can be overlapped, and the
overall span of day for certain departments may be reduced. Production Manager will
coordinate load in schedule with local venue to stagger calls and respect proper labor
practices.
STRIKE
Strike is anticipated to take 6 hours, completed in one day, or split between the evening of the
final performance and the day following.
Amm(i)gone requires the following staffing for strike:

The Venue shall advise whether or not a meal break is required between the performance and the
start of strike if the strike is to follow the final performance. Any meal penalties or catered
meals shall be covered by the local venue.
TRUCKING AND LOADING
The production travels in one 10’ box truck. Venue must provide adequate parking and
permitting for the truck from 12 hours prior to the start of load in through the first 12 hours of
load in. It is important that the truck is able to be unloaded in the closest proximity to the stage
that the venue allows. If a loading dock does not exist where a truck can back up for a straight
unload, additional crew may be required.
For strike, the truck will need parking and appropriate permits for 4 hours prior to strike through
the duration of the strike (approximately 8 hours total).
Loading dock and parking area must be clear of ice, snow, leaves, debris, etc prior to the truck’s
arrival.
Loading Doors shall be at least 8’ tall and 3’-3” wide. The WIDEST piece of scenery is
3’3”x3’3”. The LONGEST piece of scenery is 12’x6”x 6”. The bulkiest piece of scenery is
8’x4’x9”. Please alert Production Manager if loading conditions do not comply.
PREPARATION OF THE VENUE
The loading dock and path to stage must be clear of all house storage, trash bins, and other items
which may be stored during the load in and load out. All dressing rooms and offices shall be
cleaned and swept prior to arrival.
The stage must be completely clear aside from advanced masking plot prior to load in. All house
scenery including orchestra shells, house curtain, pianos, ladders, speakers, etc must be stored
prior to load in for Amm(i)gone.
SCENERY
Stage requirements for playing space are 32 feet wide by 24 feet deep. The venue should be able
to hang the projection screen and scenic legs at a trim of 17 feet.
Venue is to provide a full complement of soft goods. Amm(I)Gone requires three (3) sets of legs,
three (3) headers, and a full stage black out curtain hung US of the set. Soft Goods should be
appropriately sized for the venue.
Venue is to provide a freshly painted black stage floor. Stage floor must be level.
Amm(i)gone travels with:
• 1 dimensional backdrop/projection surface assembled on site, projected from the front,
approximate dimensions 26’x16’x6”
• 4 scenic legs (two per side), lit from the back, 16’-3” tall x 4’ wide
• 11 scenic cubes with practical interior lighting, ranging in size from 18” cube to 36”
cube, requiring 8 dimmers
• 1 desk and stool
• 7 area carpets which cover/define the playing space
• Up to 45 6”x6”x8” scenic practical lanterns hung over the audience, arranged in
cooperation with venue, requiring 1 dimmer
• Computer for onstage playback of video and sound elements
• Overhead mounted video camera with ability for live feed

LIGHTING
The light plot and hookup for Amm(i)gone are attached to this rider. The light plot can normally
be adapted to the circumstances of each venue; taking into account but not necessarily limited by
house equipment inventory. Amm(i)gone will review existing venue inventory and rep plot (if
applicable) and make a good faith effort to accommodate the venue’s plot and inventory. If the
Production Manager deems the venue’s available equipment to be inadequate, then the Presenter
must provide the required equipment specified by Amm(i)gone. No substitutions may be made
without consulting the Production Manager.
The light plot should be pre-hung and fully functional prior to the company’s arrival.
Amm(i)gone typically hangs on 3 FOH positions, (one of which may be a balcony rail) and 5
overhead electrics.
Deck practicals that travel with the show require 8 dimmers.
Practical lanterns hung over or around the audience seating require 1 dimmer.
The production travels with gobos, gel and appropriately colored gaff tape. Any other
consumables must be provided by the venue.
The light plot requires

A full touring light plot will be made available after the closing of the NY Engagement.
SOUND
Performer uses a lavalier-style wireless microphone and receiver, which travels with the
production. Minimal FOH mixing will be required along with playback of sound cues from a
house-provided sound computer.
Presenter may at its discretion use its own wireless microphone and receiver.
Venue shall provide a house speaker plot with full surround sound system. Where possible, a

Venue shall provide com and walkie-talkie package for the production available for use during
the entire production period. The following House systems are required for use at each venue:
• SM backstage/dressing room page from calling position as well as designated SM office
• COM to FOH w/ a Handset or walkie-talkie with earpiece for SM to speak with House
Manager
• 1 working wireless or wired COM belt packs w/ headsets for on stage use during
performance
• 3 working wired COM packs w/ headsets at, Light Board, Sound Board, Video Board
• Full COM base station at SM calling station w/ headsets
• FOH video shot of full stage at SM calling position. Stage shot must include front row of
audience or a secondary shot shall be provided. FOH video shot should also have
infrared capabilities.
PROJECTIONS/VIDEO
Amm(i)gone will travel with one on-stage video camera for live feed and an onstage laptop for
onstage video playback. The production will travel with cabling appropriate for both onstage
elements to run to house-provided video computer (separate from the sound computer), which
must be a Mac running Mojave 10.14 or later.
Presenter must provide one 12K Lumen projector with extra wide lens, placed at center in the
space and at an approximate distance of 11 feet from the touring video screen, exact position
TBD. Please discuss with Tour Production Manager possible use of house equipment or rental.
Playback of video and live feed uses Millumin software, which must be installed on the house
video computer. Production will provide licensing for the software.

PROPS

WARDROBE
The production travels with one costume including doubles plus all necessary styling products.

Onsite laundry facilities are required for washing of skin layers. Local wardrobe crew will be
required for daily laundry calls. One washer, one dryer, a hand washing sink, and one rack with
fans for hang drying will be required for run of show laundry. A sewing machine, iron and
ironing board, and steamer shall be available for use at all times.
Venue shall provide all consumables required for laundry service including soap, detergent,
vodka spray, color guard, dryer sheets, etc.
Each dressing room shall be provided with a rolling wardrobe rack or built-in hanging
space. Towels of a dark color should be provided for the actor.
All garments may be machine washed on gentle cycle. Some garments require air drying.
No drycleaning is necessary.
HAIR AND MAKEUP
Local wardrobe person shall be familiar with hair prep and maintenance. The production will
travel with a detailed hair and makeup bible. Venue shall provide common styling items such as
rollers, curling iron, hair dryer, etc.
The production will travel with all makeup and hair products used by the performer.
PERFORMANCES
The onstage playing space is covered entirely with carpets, which will need to be vacuumed prior
to each performance. The offstage areas will need to be swept and mopped prior to every
performance.
Prior to each performance, a complete lighting, sound, video, and rigging check out will be
completed. There is an onstage warmup call 15 minutes prior to house open.
DRESSING ROOMS AND OFFICE SPACE
The production requires one (1) star dressing room, one (1) stage management office, and a
production office (dressing room or separate space). All dressing rooms must be up to the
standards of AEA Production Contract including lighting, counter space, mirrors, cots, bathroom
and shower facility, and hot water.
A wardrobe room is also required where house crew will provide laundry and show prep services
for the production.
All offices and dressing rooms must be able to be locked and accessible to production staff
during regular business hours. Keys shall be provided at the start of load into the Stage
Manager.
Wireless internet must be provided in all backstage areas. A printer must be available to
production staff, capable of 8.5”x11” paper.
Cast shall have access to a green room with basic kitchen, dining, and lounge areas. The
production shall have access to a gender-neutral restroom.
FRONT OF HOUSE
The house may not be opened prior to half-hour prior to performance.
Late seating for the show will be confirmed by stage management.
The stage temperature shall be kept cool at all times, in no event higher 68 degrees.
Appropriate signage warning patrons of objectionable content must be provided by the venue
and posted clearly at entrances. Please consult with the Production Manager prior to first
performance.
REHEARSALS
During performance weeks, the stage may be used for brush up rehearsals. Rehearsals shall be
conducted under work light with props. Venue shall provide local conditions to allow for this
work to happen.
HOSPITALITY
Coffee and Tea should be provided for the load in and in the green room. Filtered Hot and Cold
water shall be accessible on-stage level or at dressing rooms at all times while Amm(i)gone is in
residence.
COVID COMPLIANCE
All venues are expected to abide by CDC and Local Governance with regard
to COVID Safety. Amm(i)gone will tour with a current safety rider with show specific protocols
that all local venue staff working on the production will be expected to abide. As COVID is
continuously changing, this information will be shared approximately one month prior to each
engagement, with a draft available in mid-2024. These protocols may include wearing masks,
sanitizing items backstage between use, maintaining social distancing when possible, a daily
wellness screening, etc. All touring company members of Amm(i)gone will be fully vaccinated.
Venue shall provide a COVID Compliance Officer or similar titled position. Any protocols the
venue has in place with regard to COVID safety compliance should be shared at your earliest
convenience.
ADDITIONAL NOTES
From the start of load in through the completion of strike, the stage is for the exclusive use of
Amm(i)gone. No outside events, meetings, talks, etc may be hosted on the stage without the
express written consent of this production.
Venue shall provide Stage Manager with a list of local contacts including doctor, emergency
room, urgent care center, hotels, health clubs, restaurants, car service, grocery stores, banks, etc.
Venue shall provide proper security at all times Amm(i)gone is on the premises including all
backstage areas and at stage door. Security personnel should be at the theater at least two hours
prior to each performance and one hour prior to each rehearsal or work call. Security will remain
at the theater until every company member has departed and all stage and dressing rooms areas
are properly locked and/or secured. Venue shall provide Stage Manager with current emergency
protocols for the theatre including but not limited to increment weather shelter, fire evacuation
and group meeting place, disturbance in the house, etc
